Write a Mantra for Yourself

The power of words is beyond measure. I’m sure that you have had an experience in which you gave yourself words of kindness or someone else gave you those words. During this moment, you probably felt uplifted and empowered.

Affirmations can help your you learn to be your own cheerleader, and biggest support person - the one who will always be there, and who is never going anywhere. Be that person for YOU!

Try using positive supportive words. Below are examples that you can play with:

  • I am strong and capable
  • I believe in myself 
  • I finish what I start
  • I have prepared for this.
  • I can continue to move beyond this moment.
  • Today has been a challenging day and for that, it is okay for me to stop and slow down.
  • I trust myself.
  • I can. I will.
  • My goal is progress, not perfection.
  • My body can do more than I think it can.
  • Keep moving forward.
  • Growth happens in times of discomfort.

When you have figured out a mantra that works for you - write it down, memorize it, put it as your wallpaper on your phone screen, put it on your mirror - internalize it so that it becomes your inner dialogue!
